Kritik makes it easy to edit your rubric without having to start from scratch or delete everything you've built. You can adjust criteria, levels, weights, and more whenever needed.
Step 1: Add your rubric. You can Import a Rubric, Select a Rubric Template, regenerate a rubric from AI, or create your own rubric from scratch within Kritik.
Step 2: Once your rubric is in, it'll be ready for direct editing, whether that's adjusting the weight or rewording the descriptors in each box.
To adjust the weight of a criteria or reword anything within your rubric, click anywhere in the box twice, and enter your change:
Each box is editable. To edit any box, simply double-click it. An editing field will appear where you can make your changes.
In the example below, I'll be updating the description for 'Level 1' in the 'Content Quality' criterion:
Important: To apply your change, either click anywhere on the screen or press the 'Enter' or 'Return' key on your keyboard.
Step 3: Click the '+' icon in the top right (next to the Weight box) to add a higher level or remove the highest one.
Step 5: Click the '+' icon in the bottom left to add or remove a criteria.
If you choose to Add Criteria, you can then edit the new criterion's name, weight, and descriptors to fit your needs by clicking on each box.
If you'd like to erase everything and reset your rubric, click the 'Reset Rubric' button.
Important: Your changes won't save automatically. Click 'Save and Continue' once you're done editing or before leaving the page if you plan to edit later.
With these tools, you'll have everything you need to shape your rubric exactly the way you want it, ensuring it perfectly fits your activity and supports clear, effective grading for your students!
