Kritik allows you to create rubric templates that you can reuse across any of your future activities or courses. This is a great way to save time, maintain consistency in your grading, and avoid rebuilding the same rubric from scratch every time.
Step 1: Head over to your course and click 'Activities', which can be found on the left panel
Step 2: From the Activities page in your course, click 'More Actions' and then select 'Manage Rubric Templates'
Step 3: You'll be directed to the Rubric Templates page. On the top left under 'My Templates', click 'Create Template'
Step 4: You will now see a Basic Template. Edit the template to fit your needs by clicking 'Edit'
You will now be able to create your rubric template. You can rename your rubric template (the default name is 'Basic Template'), add levels, add criteria, and adjust the grading weight for each criteria. If you'd like to erase your rubric at any time, click 'Reset Rubric'
Once you've created your rubric, click 'Save'
Step 5: Your rubric will now be saved in the 'My Templates' section, and will be ready for to use in any of your new activities.
With your template saved, you now have a reusable rubric ready to pull into any future activity!
