Generating a rubric with Kritik's AI is faster and easier than ever. Using your activity's title, learning objectives, and instructions, the AI builds a tailored rubric designed specifically for your assignment. You're always in control, so you can regenerate the rubric for a new version or edit it however you'd like, saving you time while ensuring it fits your activity perfectly.
Step 1: Ensure your Activity Details are filled out (Title, Overall Learning Objective(s), and Instructions). The more detail you provide, the more accurate and tailored your AI-generated rubric will be.
Once your activity details are complete, click 'Save and continue'
Step 2: On the 'Rubric & Settings' step, Kritik's AI will automatically generate a rubric for you based on your activity details. Please allow up to a minute for it to finish generating.
Step 3: Once your AI-generated rubric is complete, it will appear as a fully editable rubric. You can change the title of each criterion, adjust the levels, add or remove criteria and levels, and modify the weights by double clicking each box. Everything in the rubric can be adjusted, giving you full control.
If you'd like to regenerate your rubric, click the 'Regenerate Rubric with AI' button, which is found right under 'Options'. This will produce an entirely new rubric based on your activity details, so if the first result wasn't quite right, it gives you another option to work from.
Step 4: Once your rubric is set and you've reviewed it to make sure everything looks good, complete your activity settings and click 'Save and continue'.
You're all set! You've successfully generated a rubric with the help of AI. You're free to edit your rubric throughout the Create stage, however once the activity moves into the Evaluate stage, it will be locked and can no longer be changed.
