Kritik is now available directly within the Canvas App Center, allowing Canadian LMS Admins to integrate Kritik with Canvas in just a few clicks. No developer keys, deployment IDs, or external configurations required.
Integration Steps:
Step 1: Log into your Admin Canvas account and click the Admin tab on the left panel and select your institution
Step 2: Navigate to the blue 'Apps' button
Step 3: You will now be directed to the Canvas Apps store. Search 'Kritik' in the search bar, and click 'Kritik Canada'
Step 4: Click 'Install'
Step 5: Review all of the permissions Kritik will use. Make sure everything is set as it appears in the screenshots below, and click 'Next' for each
Step 6: Click 'Install App'
Step 7: Once you've installed the app, you'll have to set the app to 'Available'. By default it is set as 'Not Available' when you first download it.
Click the pencil icon, set it as Available, and click 'Save'
You're all done! Kritik is now fully integrated into your institutions Canvas. Instructors can add Kritik to any assignment by selecting External Tool under Submission Type and choosing Kritik from the list.
