The Authenticity Score starts at 100% and may decrease depending on the amount of:
AI-generated or AI-revised content
Pasted content from outside sources
Your instructor may set custom thresholds for both AI Content and Pasted Content based on the assignment requirements.
If your submission exceeds those thresholds, your score may decrease.
Important Things to Know
The score is an indicator, not a final conclusion. AI-related percentages are probability estimates and should not automatically be treated as proof of misconduct.
The VisibleAI AI Chat history only reflects interactions within the built-in AI assistant. Content created or revised using external AI tools may still affect the score if pasted into the editor.
If pasted content tracking is enabled, copying text from outside sources into the editor may also impact the Authenticity Score.
