If you're wondering how to introduce VisibleAI and Kritik360 in simple terms within your course outline, feel free to use the below text as a guideline or copy and paste it into your syllabus.

This semester, we will be using the following tools built by Kritik Education:

1) Kritik360 (www.kritik.io/kritik360), a peer-to-peer learning and evaluation platform. Kritik360 puts you, the student, at the center of your learning. Kritik360 is focused on an important goal: to help you in developing critical thinking and communication skills, which in turn set you up for success both in and out of the classroom.

2) VisibleAI (www.visibleai.io), a platform focused on AI transparency and literacy, that will build trust between you and your instructor based on the composition of your work. VisibleAI enables instructors and students to better understand and manage AI use in academic work, removing the uncertainty around AI-generated content.

Each Kritik360 activity has 3 unique stages:

Stage 1: Create - Follow the instructions, read the provided rubric and create a submission. You will be using VisibleAI here. Locate the button that says “Start writing your creation”. This will open the Visible360 screen where you will be composing your work.

Stage 2: Evaluate - Anonymously score your peers based on the rubric in Kritik360, and provide written comments.

Stage 3: Feedback - Provide your peer evaluators anonymous feedback in Kritik360 in relation to how motivational and critical their written comments were.

PLEASE NOTE: Although you will be using VisibleAI inside of Kritik360, you will still have the full functionality of the platform. Once your assignment is submitted in the create stage, the evaluate stage will begin. Here, you will be able to see your peers’ submissions, along with their assignment insights from VisibleAI.

Grading

When you participate in these activities, you will receive 3 scores: Creation score, Evaluation score, and Feedback Score. The weighted average of these three scores will determine your Overall score for that activity. The Grading Scheme can be found in the course info section in Kritik360.
